Solomon’s bin picking solution, AccuPick3D, uses a two-finger gripper to pick transparent bottles that have been randomly placed in a bin. The bottles have no labels or caps to help the robot to identify them, but Solomon’s solution is able to correctly recognize each item and place them in the predefined location.

With AccuPick3D, we are able to pick randomly placed transparent wine glasses. Using Solomon’s bin picking solution, the glasses are delicately handled using a two-finger gripper and then placed in the correct predefined position.

High Speed Deformed Character Recognition

Highly deformed characters inked on a bottle cap need to be identified at a speed of 10 bottles per second. Relying on deep learning and a small number of samples for training, the characters are instantly identified via Solomon´s deep learning software.
